To test the statements from the South Australian health minister ,dentist or councillor or any other self proclaimed expert. The people of Mt. Gambier only have to individually serve a notice on these people  advising them that you conditionally accept the fluoridation of the water if they will accept full and personal liability by way of Statutory Declaration for any death or medical problem that may arise from the fluoride being added to the water you or your family knowingly or unknowingly drink. When you do this just watch
them head bush with their tails between their legs, its funny how people change when they have to accept personal liability for their actions and this method can be used in many different ways to bring these criminal to justice, I use the word criminals as honourable men and woman do not force others to do something against their will.

The Agent, Substance, or product being used to fluoridate Water, is derived from a Toxic Industrial Waste-by Product! If this was not being Dumped in Water or elsewhere, the Industries responsible for producing it, would justly Pay a Toxic Landfill, to properly dispose their Toxic Litter. As it (still) is, they continue making Big $Profits$ Instead!
It is THIS Garbage, they're Forcing down People's Throat!! Say, if Fluoride were sooo Wonderful as is usually claimed, why has it never been Approved for Ingestion by the Food and Drug Administration?
Did you know the ADA Receives $$$Money $$$$, in return for Endorsements of Products?
Since, they are now no longer, able to blindly Trick, Mislead, or Brainwash the Entire Population, thanxs to the Resources of the Internet & elsewhere, what are they going to do now, to keep protecting their pockets etc.?
People are encouraged to research the Facts & Educate themselves on this Fluoride Business. Plz see Interview with Christopher Bryson, Author of "The Fluoride Deception", which is freely available Online, you'll then know, why this Toxic Waste, continues to be claimed 100% Safe & what the REAL Motives are behind it, how this Business got started etc. Go to www.Google.com Click VIDEO Type fluoride It is first on the List and has been given a 5 Star Rating.
We now live in the 21rst Century!! Think what happens to Big Business, who sell this Garbage, then Dump it into Drinking water & elsewhere + the Economy, when this 'Fluoride' Sludge was no longer claimed Perfectly safe via Mainstream! Profits are going to go down etc; you'll get the Picture. Be Educated Folks, not Manipulated!

Hi its good to see that others in Australia understand the importance of expressing our will by the use of a MY WILL letter. I would recommend that you discard the petition as petitions are what slaves use to beg from their master and in Australia under our Constitution the people are the master and the politicians are our servants. If you wish to learn more about the effectiveness of MY WILL letters visit the website www.saveoz.info From my research i find that fluoridation is all about toxic waste disposal and providing customers for the drug/medical mafia. Regards Niksfree, Melbourne Victoria.

I read with some concern your article “Fluoride Given the Go Ahead” in the Border Watch dated Friday 26th January. I know there are members in the SE Community on both sides of the fluoride debate who are more knowledgeable than I on this issue. Indeed the fluoride debate has raged for decades both here in Australia and overseas since the 1940’s and I am sure there are people who can bring a wealth of experience to this much polarized subject.

After carefully reading your article, I found it to be somewhat biased. No evidence was presented by both sides of the debate other than, for example, Dr Dunn’s highly unprofessional comment that people who are “anti-fluoride” were automatically relegated to such people as to having the mentality that they think “their children’s teeth will light up in the dark”. Even Mr William’s quote that evidence for water fluoridation was “pretty compelling”, are words which do not confer absolute trust in the available evidence. If it was, a more compelling statement would have been made such as “I have no doubt in my mind that the benefits of water fluoridation to human health outweigh the associated risks”.

The decision to go ahead with mass fluoridation of our water supply at the State level should be ratified by the community at the Municipal level. A decision of this magnitude should be presented to the people of the South East and indeed to other rural communities in SA where the State politic wants to roll out fluoridation of the rural water supplies. I for one would like to know which fluoridation agent will be used - organic calcium fluoride or artificial fluorides, such as inorganic hydrofluosilicic acid or sodium fluoride. Hydrosfluosilicic acid, commonly known as fluosilicic acid is a poisonous and corrosive water soluble salt that is often used to fluoridate water and appears on many chemical hazardous materials lists. What are the accepted safe levels of such artificial chemicals? Such decisions, which potentially affect whole communities, should always be decided at an open meeting by an action of vote, rather than behind closed doors.

Without relying on “professional” hearsay and undocumented evidence rehashed from afar, I call upon all members of the SE Community, including the various councils, SA Water Supply and the Department of Health to get involved. An appropriate venue should be organized whereby We - the members of the Community can have an opportunity to hear both sides of the story from qualified persons. We should be given the opportunity to find out the pros and cons of water fluoridation and make the right decision that will best benefit our children and ourselves.

Even if it was decided to go ahead with fluoridation of our water supply AFTER a community municipal vote was held, then the local “anti-fluoridation” camp would have to concede that it was done via a fair and democratic process and not by pure State level pushed decisions. Other municipalities across the globe have had such opportunities available to them. So should we. I call upon the Mayor of Mount Gambier to create such an opportunity.

To care is to think and allow ourselves to be educated in matters which concern us, regardless of our community standing and our perceptions. Whether you are a garbage collector, a checkout operator, a teacher or a dentist, we all should have the same cradle of opportunity and the right to vote on important municipal matters which affect us all, water being one of the basic necessities to sustain life. I would respect the decision of the Community rather than the State who would have us linger in limbo – good teeth or not. Our Community should be given a chance to bark, for it is stronger than our bite.
Alex Young, Mount Gambier, South Australia

I encourage all citizens, not only in the South East but globally, to look deeply into the issues and concerns raised in this website. It is with the utmost admiration that I acknowledge the web hosts for taking the steps to assist the Mount Gambier community become aware of a very serious matter that will effect the long term health of its populace. Armed with that knowledge then an informed decision can be made and hopefully through a democratic
process.
James Kennedy

I believe that fluoride is no benefit to our community as it is a harmful chemical that only benefits the phosphate industry. Fluoridation is not an acceptable health care measure. It is the countries failure to provide dental care for the lower class. I want to know where is the Governments responsibility to the public and their community. Where is the precautionary principles in addressing this situation. Belinda Ellis, Compton, South Australia

"Before looking at Fluoride as the answer and being reactive over the decay problem we have we need to be proactive and consider our lifestyle rather looking at the quick and easy option. People need to take responsibility to teach their children good health care, not just in teeth but in general health. You don't need to be rocket scientist to know that rotten teeth start with diet and dental hygiene." Mr R Amoroso, Mount Gambier, South Australia

"How dare the Government presume that the people of Mount Gambier want Fluoride in their water. I thought we were meant to be a democratic society. Whatever happened to freedom of choice. As a health professional if i administered a medication to a patient of sound mind without their consent there would be legal ramifications. The Government putting fluoride (medication) in our water supply without our consent is no different!" Mrs. A Smith, Mount Gambier, South Australia.

"What happened to democracy? Since when can the Government make a decision about our drinking water without consulting the residence of Mount Gambier? " Ms M Freeman, Mount Gambier, South Australia
